Tourbox connects to the tools a tour business already runs on. Each connection is set up once in Settings by someone with the right permission, and can be switched off there.
Xero
Supplier invoices and customer payments are pushed to Xero as they happen, so the books match the bookings without a month-end export.
Slack
Notifications where the team already is, for the events you choose.
Zoom
Connect your own Zoom account and create a meeting from a booking or an enquiry.
Vamoos
Push the itinerary to Vamoos for operators who give travellers that app.
Mailboxes
Microsoft 365 mailboxes connected per person, so mail is sent as you from your address. Google mailboxes follow once Google's app verification completes.
WordPress
A plugin that adds your Tourbox forms, your media library and the visitor tracking tag to a WordPress site, and keeps itself up to date.
Flights
Search live fares through a connected flight provider on your own account and import an offer straight into the itinerary.
AI assistants over MCP
Connect Claude, ChatGPT or any other assistant that supports MCP, the open standard for this. One sign-in, your choice of which parts of Tourbox it may use and whether it may change anything, and a switch-off button in Settings.
Questions about integrations
Does Tourbox replace Xero?
No. Tourbox holds the bookings and their money; Xero holds the books. Supplier invoices and customer payments go across as they happen, and a payment allocated to an invoice in Tourbox shows up reconciled in Xero.
Who can set up an integration?
A team member with the manage-integrations permission, which owners and admins hold. Each integration is connected once for the organisation, except mailboxes and Zoom, which are connected per person so that mail and meetings are yours.
What is MCP and why would I use it?
MCP is the open standard that lets an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT work with other software. Connecting one to Tourbox lets it answer questions from your reporting figures, which carry no personal data, and work on your document templates, with the access you granted and nothing more. You switch it off from Settings at any time.
Is there an API?
Website content is published through a feed, forms and the tracking tag come as a short piece of code for your site, and AI assistants connect over MCP. A general API for other software is not published yet; talk to us about what you need to connect.
