Questions about the customer portal and app
Does the portal work on a phone?
Yes. The Tourbox portal shows the itinerary, hotels, documents and important information in a layout that reads on a phone, before, during and after the trip. Travellers who want the trip in their pocket can also use the companion app for iOS and Android, with the same itinerary, documents and payments.
Will my travellers see the Tourbox name?
No. The portal, the documents and the app carry your logo, colours and fonts, and Tourbox does not appear on them. Photos and documents can be served from your own domain as well.
If I change the itinerary, do travellers see it?
Yes. The portal reads the booking in Tourbox, so a hotel or a time changed in the builder shows there with no second copy to update. Travellers see the booking's active itinerary.
How do travellers sign in?
Invite each traveller with an email address from the booking in Tourbox, and they sign in with a passcode sent by email. You can resend an invite or revoke access for one traveller or for everyone, and each traveller sees only the bookings they were invited to.
Can travellers pay in the portal?
Yes. Travellers see what is due and pay by card from the portal, and the payment lands on the booking in Tourbox. You choose per booking whether invoices and payment status show.
